IMG_9991 There is something very magical about fireworks and sparklers, they instantly fill me with happiness and they bring back so many nostalgic memories. Traditionally every year on the 5th November there are bonfire nights and firework displays around Great Britain and the sky looks the prettiest it’s looked all year. Now that you’ve all sussed out the fact that this time of the year is my favourite, It would be wrong not to include some sparkler photos. I remember trying to do these with my friends and we would always be so thrilled when they came out semi-decent and they went up as our myspace profile photos immediately. The trick is to use a tripod and a very slow shutter speed in order to capture the light movement. You also want to be able to see that you’re holding a sparkler though, as they are so pretty and twinkly. spark8 spark6 spark4 spark2 spark1

For the past few years I haven’t been able to go to a fireworks display but have desperately wanted to go to one. They are my absolute favourite. Luckily, where I live I can see so many displays going off, some to music! Last year I sang along to Frozen songs whilst watching lot’s of blue and white fireworks dart across the sky (absolute heaven). Do you have any plans to see a fireworks display this year? Do you also share my love of fireworks and sparklers?

Send me your sparkler photos on Twitter and Instagram: @ZozeeBo

Camera Settings:

ISO: 100 – Aperture: 7.1 – Exposure: 13 seconds (for writing my name – obviously this can vary depending on what you want to write out or draw) Also don’t forget that with writing something, you then have to flip the photo in order for it to read the right way. You don’t need to learn how to write things backwards haha!
