Kiko is a brand I’ve not explored in depth, but anything I have used I’ve always loved. One of my favourite blushes that I use on a regular basis in fact is Kiko Tri-bal Soul Baked Blush in Wild Mauve which is gorgeous and leaves a very beautiful sheen on my cheeks. When more Kiko products turned up in my PO box, I was so excited to try them and share them with you too. One of the main things I love about this brand is the price point, it’s really very reasonable and the products are very good quality. This range is called Rebel Romantic and being the rose gold magpie that I am, I was drawn in immediately by the packaging. In short, it’s BEAUT.

Glowing Potion – This is the first skincare-type product I’ve tried from Kiko, and one that really impressed me. Although I’m not sure of any of the long-term benefits of it as a serum yet, after initial use it leaves the skin so silky and soft, and is a great prep for foundation. With just a tiny bit of shimmer, it brightens up the skin, doing exactly what it says on the the tin and adding a lovely bit of glow!

Intensely Lavish Lipsticks – At only £6.90 this price rivals your average high street lipstick. The colours I received are 05 Heavy Cherry and 03 Luscious Red. Both have a really thick, glossy formulation and are super pigmented, very impressive for lipsticks of that price! The range also features Lip Liners in matching shades, at only £4.90 each, they make a great addition to the lipstick and helps them stay put all day!

Contouring Pencils – I absolutely love these as you don’t tend to find products like this on the high street, especially for that price! They remind me of the Charlotte Tilbury beach sticks but with a more pointed tip for more detailed application. The bronzer pencil is quite warm toned but blends in beautifully without any orange-ness to it so works well for countouring. The highlighter is a really pretty pearly shade that adds a lovely glow without glitter. Again, with the rose gold packaging, these are a hit with me!

Metallic Shine Shadows – Although not really my colours (and the blue one will be going on to a new home where it will be loved more than I could ever love it) I have kept the other colour and I do find this great to wear. It’s a gorgeous aubergine taupe shade and the colour pay off it amazing. I love that they are in cute glass jars with screw on lids, normally the sort of packaging you’d get a cream shadow in. The range also contains an eyeliner for adding highlight to your lash/waterline which I found really intriguing. The shade ‘Darling Butter’ is a creamy nude which is great for brightening up the eye, perfect for creating natural looking glow looks!

All these products are a joy to have in my collection and i’m enjoying using them. I actually love this packaging and it’s a bit of a shame that it’s not permanent, although would it be as special then? Kiko do tend to get packaging spot on, which makes me even more excited for any further collections. Have you ever tried anything from Kiko? Do you have any recommendations (not that I need any more…).
