I have actually found it extremely satisfying to use something up completely, as I have so many half full products cluttering up my bedroom and bathroom.  I have also tried to only buy products I know I don’t already have something very similar of that I need to use up (i.e. I haven’t bought any moisturisers or shower gels as I already have so many I need to get through). So it’s sort of like a shopping ban on items that although I may see on my shopping trip and want to try as it looks interesting, I won’t buy as I know I already have too many similar items at home that I NEED to use up first. So far it’s working! 

Have you been collecting empties for reviews? Or just tried to stop yourself buying too many of one thing?

  42. I love empties videos! They're so helpful :) I use Johnson's baby oil as eye makeup remover, however it leaves a slight film on my eyes and then I can't read at night. You must rinse your eyes a bunch to be able to see clear again.

  89. I'm currently working my way through all of my shampoos. Whenever I use up the conditioner that pairs with it, I want to buy a different brand. And since I use so much conditioner compared to shampoo, I am now left with a billion different shampoos. lol :)

  91. Just used up my elizabeth arden eight hour cream :( so tempted to buy another but definitely need to use up the moisturizers i havent used now!!!! I used the sally hansen nail polish remover aswell and i honestly wish i had just walked past it in the shop!!
